Leaving hospital before home is quite ready can feel daunting. Our hospital to home service offers a supported living stay in our own homely accommodation, where you can recover from an operation or illness in comfort.
We help you regain strength and confidence, assess what you need, and prepare you for a safe return to independent living. It also eases pressure on hospitals and care homes, so beds are freed for those who need them.

What our step-down support includes
- A comfortable room in our homely accommodation
- Bathing, showering and personal grooming
- Shaving with an electric razor and dressing
- Oral hygiene, toileting and continence care
- Laundry, ironing and keeping things tidy
- Medication reminders and support
- Nutritious meals prepared with or for you
- Companionship and a reassuring presence
- Exercise under the direction of a physiotherapist
- A clear plan and handover to home care on your return
